StepDial
Read full descriptionHide full description
Put your step entries in time. StepDial helps you enter steps in Apple Health and arrange them across a chosen time interval. Add missed entries now, or set a timer that saves entries as time passes. Counts are entered by you; cadence and pauses are estimates based on your settings, not measurements of physical movement. YOUR DAY AT A GLANCE See the total Apple Health shares with StepDial, plus separate totals for steps added today and overall. These figures are shown separately, without counting your entries twice. ADD YOUR WAY Enter 1β100,000 steps. Use +500, +1,000, +2,000, +3,000 or +5,000 shortcuts, type a count, or adjust by 100. Choose Walk, Brisk walk or Run, then adjust speed and mood. Preview the estimated cadence and sample times before saving. SET YOUR RHYTHM Start a timer with natural pauses or choose a finish time. The plan adjusts its rhythm to your target and deadline. The moving rhythm display follows the session, including rests and saved progress. iOS may pause background work; writes can be delayed and catch up when execution and Health access resume. Continuous background delivery is not guaranteed. KEEP CONTROL End a timer early and keep saved steps. Undo individual sessions in History. Undo today removes only todayβs StepDial entries, preserving other dates and sources. Rewrite today restores counts and times previously confirmed as saved in local history, including undone entries, without duplicates. End an active timer before either daily action. FREE USE AND STEPDIAL PLUS Add and Timer share three free sessions per device per local day. After that, each completed rewarded ad unlocks one more session, with no daily limit on repeats. Each new Undo today or Rewrite today action requires its own rewarded ad for free users, even if free sessions remain. An unavailable or unfinished ad does not start the action. An interrupted, authorized daily action can resume without a second ad. The free version includes banner, app-open, interstitial and rewarded ads. StepDial Plus removes all four formats, allows unlimited sessions and makes daily actions ad-free. Choose monthly or yearly auto-renewing plans. Taiwan prices: NT$90/month or NT$720/year. No free trial. Apple shows the price for your region before purchase. Payment is charged on confirmation; renewal is automatic unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Apple Account subscriptions. Restore purchases in StepDial Settings. YOUR RECORDS, YOUR DEVICE No account required. Step records stay on your device and in Apple Health and are not sent to Google or used for ad targeting. Optional usage analytics is off by default. Googleβs ad SDK may process device and advertising information; available privacy choices are in Settings. New Health samples identify StepDial as the source and include start/end times and the device running the app. Other apps decide whether to use these entries. Designed for iPhone and iPad. English, Korean, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. Requires iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. Kettlebell Workout
Read full descriptionHide full description
LiftTakt guides your kettlebell workouts with spoken cues, rest timers and haptics. Choose from 72 workouts matched to the weights you own, and learn 49 movements with animated illustrations. Train free with two coached sessions a day. One-sided sets include a spoken side-switch cue halfway through. Premium adds two 8-week programs, progression and your own workout builder. Works with the Apple Health app: every finished session can be saved there as a Functional Strength Training workout. WHAT YOU GET, FREE 49 movements, each with an animated illustration that loops, a setup, three coaching cues, two common faults, the muscles it works and how to breathe. Swing, snatch, Turkish get-up, clean and press, goblet squat, windmill, bent press, carries and more. 72 workouts, from a first session with one bell to double snatch conditioning. Filter by level, length, focus, and by what your rack can actually do. Two fully coached sessions a day, with every cue, every rest timer, and the finished workout saved to Apple Health. BUILT FOR THE BELLS YOU OWN Tell the app which weights you have. Every workout scales to your rack, and a workout that needs a weight you do not own is never shown at all. No guessing which bell "moderate" means. A COACH THAT KEEPS TIME PROPERLY Every cue for the whole session is prepared before your first rep and played against the audio clock, so the switch call lands on the exact midpoint of every set. It ducks your music instead of stopping it. The screen stays awake while you train, and if you leave the app, the session pauses until you come back. It does not drift. Movement names are pronounced properly, too. Turkish get-up is not read as three separate words. APPLE HEALTH Connect the Apple Health app and every finished session is saved there as a Functional Strength Training workout, with its duration and an estimated active energy burn. The app asks first, on a screen that says exactly what it writes, and it only ever writes: it never reads your weight, heart rate, sleep or anything else. Turn it on or off any time in Settings, under Apple Health. PREMIUM Two 8-week programs, Swing & Get-Up Base and Snatch Conditioning Ladder, with week-by-week prescriptions and a deload every fourth week. A progression engine that reads your rack: add reps, then add a round, then move to the next bell you actually own. EMOM, AMRAP, Tabata and ladder modes, and your own rest time on any movement in any workout. Your own workouts in the builder, plus the full training log, per-movement volume and CSV export. NO ADS Not in the free plan, not anywhere. There is no ad SDK in this app. EVERYTHING STAYS ON YOUR PHONE No account, no sign-in, no tracking. Your training history is stored on your device. Apple Health access is write only; the app never reads your health data. LiftTakt Premium Premium unlocks the 8-week programs, the progression engine, every interval mode, the workout builder and the full training log. Premium is available as a weekly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled. Cancel anytime in your Apple Account Subscriptions settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The lifetime unlock is a one time purchase and does not renew. Kettlebell training is strenuous. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Kettlebell Workout at none against StepDial's shown. Kettlebell Workout also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). StepDial's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 5 days). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
