Keepbook is a checkbook register for people who enter their own transactions and want the balance to be right. Every row shows the balance after it, the way a paper register does. Amounts are kept in whole cents, so the balance is never off by a penny. YOUR ENTRIES ARE KEPT SAFE - A backup file is written every day you use the app and kept for 30 days. - Backups are plain files in your own iCloud Drive. Restore any of them with two taps. - Restoring saves your current register first, so a restore can be undone. WHAT IT DOES - As many accounts as you need: checking, savings, credit cards, cash. - Reconcile against your bank statement and see the difference as you tick entries off. - Recurring entries: weekly, every 2 weeks, every 4 weeks, twice a month, monthly, quarterly, twice a year, yearly. - Transfers between accounts, shown in both registers. - Search by description, amount, check number or memo. - Lock with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode. - Dark mode and large text. COMING FROM ACCOUNTS 2 OR ACCOUNTS 3 Export each account as CSV and import it. You see the entry count and the ending balance before anything is saved. WHAT IT DOES NOT DO No ads. No bank linking. No account to create. Nothing leaves your devices except through your own iCloud. PRICE Free: one account, 50 entries, and a backup every day. One payment of $9.99 adds unlimited accounts and entries, sync between your iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud, export to CSV, and print. There is no subscription.

About

Check Register by ILDAN

Check Register is a simple, private record of your money. It works like a paper check register: you enter your accounts and transactions, and it keeps the running balance for you. It does not connect to your bank and needs no account. Your data stays on your iPhone. ACCOUNTS AND TRANSACTIONS - Checking, savings, credit card and loan accounts, each with its own running balance. - Expenses, income and transfers with payee, category, amount, date, check number and memo. - Mark transactions cleared and reconcile against your statement. - Split a transaction across several categories. - Picking a payee suggests the amount and category from last time. BUDGETS - Set a monthly limit for any category. - While you enter an amount, see what is left in that month and what will be left after this entry. - A Budget view on the Chart screen shows one bar per category, with a total. SEE WHERE IT GOES - Spending and income charts by category, for the period you pick. Each category keeps its own color. - A calendar of your transactions. - Search every transaction by payee, memo, category or amount. RECURRING AND REMINDERS - Recurring transactions (daily, weekly, every two weeks, monthly or yearly) are added for you when they come due. - An optional daily reminder to log your spending. EXPORT - Export to Excel with a dashboard, monthly summaries, a budget sheet and a sheet per account. - Export to CSV. PRIVACY AND SECURITY - Everything is stored on your iPhone. Nothing is sent to us. - No ads, no analytics, no tracking, no sign-up. - Optional passcode lock. - Your data is included in your iPhone's own iCloud or computer backup if you use one. Pasting an amount such as $1,234.56 into an amount field works, and pasted Arabic-Indic, Devanagari, Bengali and Myanmar digits are read as numbers. Made by ILDAN.
