Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Effectrix at 4.7 against SNAP's 3.6. Effectrix also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 33%) and ratings volume (97 vs 14). SNAP's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
