Emberpine Lookout
Read full descriptionHide full description
Emberpine Lookout puts you in a remote mountain station where every shift begins with careful observation. Work alongside a squirrel, marmot, hawk, badger, and owl through five distinct watch duties, each with its own tools, rules, and scoring focus. Sweep the ridge for a smoke plume and estimate its origin from two bearings. Rotate wind vanes to guide airflow away from a protected trail. Plan a supply drop by balancing distance, load, and crosswind. Lay a connected firebreak across uneven ground. Then aim mirrors and shutters to relay a signal through the valley. Each completed watch is added to the Lookout Log with accuracy, efficiency, and time results. Return to improve a personal best, reopen a difficult shift, or review earned station plaques in the Locker. There are no upgrades, currencies, random rewards, or hidden timers. The game is designed for quiet, focused sessions and works fully offline. No account is required, and progress stays on your device. The interface adapts to iPhone and iPad while keeping the same direct controls and clear feedback.
Quillfold Bindery
Read full descriptionHide full description
Quillfold Bindery is a quiet, tactile workshop about turning loose sheets into finished books. A small circle of animal craftspeople keeps the bindery moving: a mouse sorts folios, a spider closes the spine, a moth fits decorative leather, a newt presses foil, and a hare prepares a gilded edge. Each worktable has its own tools, movement, and sense of touch. Arrange gathering marks and paper grain before the sewing frame opens. Guide a threaded needle through the spine, then finish the row with a knot. Rotate leather shapes into a balanced cover inlay. Draw a heated brass tool along title and ornament paths without scorching the page. Align a book block, set the cutting gauge, and smooth the edge before the final polish. Finished commissions join the Colophon Shelf with their maker's signature and a record of the best result. The Workshop Ledger keeps track of preferred techniques, material efficiency, and completed editions. Settings can clear the local workshop record when you want to begin again. Designed for portrait iPhone and iPad screens, Quillfold Bindery presents every step on the workbench instead of hiding it behind a grid of cards. Text is entirely in English, and progress remains on the device.
