Sylvaris Sapling is a synthesizer for iPhone and iPad that you can play the moment it opens. Two big pads play chords in a key you choose, or single notes in a scale, so every touch sounds musical. Slide a finger on a pad and the sound moves with it: filter, pitch, delay, reverb and more answer to your hand. WHAT YOU GET • Twelve synth voices: analog, FM, wavetable, strings, chords, modal bells, chiptune and more • A filter and effects section with nine modes, including low-pass, high-pass, tape, chorus, phase, tremolo, doubler and crush • Delay and reverb • SEEDS, a phrase maker that turns the chord you hold into a flowing line. Hold it, or latch it and let it run • A one-button looper: record a part, play it back, and play over the top • Sixteen ready-made sounds. Save your own, and import and export them • Play it with a MIDI keyboard over USB or Bluetooth • A guided tour of 24 short steps that shows you how to play, one action at a time • Built for touch, in landscape, with big controls FREE, WITH NOTHING IN THE WAY No ads, no account and no in-app purchases. The app asks for an email address in one place only, and only if you want to hear when the full Sylvaris launches. ABOUT SYLVARIS Sapling is the starter edition of Sylvaris, a larger instrument from Greenlit Audio. Sounds you save in Sapling open in Sylvaris. Best on iPhone 13 or later, and on iPad mini (6th generation) or newer. Questions or feedback: chris@greenlitaudio.com

See your stereo field. Vectorscope 2 shows the shape of a stereo signal as you hear it: how wide it is, where it leans and whether its channels work together or cancel each other out. Rebuilt from the ground up, it runs as an Audio Unit (AUv3) inside GarageBand, AUM, Logic Pro and any other host, and on its own with your device's microphone or an audio interface. TWO VIEWS OF THE SAME SOUND • X/Y: the classic Lissajous display. Mono sits on the vertical axis, wide material spreads across the diamond, and a signal out of phase turns sideways. • Polar: the half-disc view, with left, center and right laid out as you'd place them in a mix. • Short or long trail, automatic or fixed zoom, and four trace colors. METERS THAT TELL THE REST • Correlation, from +1 (mono-compatible) to −1 (out of phase), so you catch phase problems before they reach a mono speaker. • Balance, so you know where the energy sits between left and right. • Peak and RMS level meters with held peaks and clip indicators. Tap to reset. • A notice when the input is mono, so a single vertical line never looks like a broken meter. MADE FOR EVERY SCREEN Vectorscope 2 lays itself out for the space it's given: an iPhone upright or sideways, an iPad, iPhone Duo folded or open, and a plugin slot in a host, from GarageBand's compact strip to its expanded view. QUIET BY DEFAULT On its own, the app starts with its output muted, so the microphone never feeds back through the speaker next to it. As a plugin it passes your audio through untouched.
