Verdict
BringFido and Bear & Bells both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of BringFido's written reviews are positive against 40% of Bear & Bells's. BringFido also leads on ratings volume (47K vs 3). Bear & Bells's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 26.0).
