Since opening our doors in 1966, Wallace State has served hundreds of thousands of students. Today, Wallace State is one of the largest colleges in the Alabama Community College System, serving more than 7,000 students each semester in credit and non-credit programs. Wallace State provides seamless educational opportunities from early high school entry to the graduate level. Through dual enrollment, the FastTrack Academy, Tech-Prep, and other early college programs, high school students seeking college credit will find their needs met here. The STARS articulation system guarantees our students transferability of credit to any Alabama public college or university. For those who want to complete their bachelor's and master’s degrees on campus, Wallace State students may take advantage of our University Center partnerships and special articulation agreements, including those with Athens State University, the University of Alabama, UAB, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Auburn University, and Troy University.
