CHD Translate is a real-time bilingual chat application developed by Local 1, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), AFL-CIO, and made available to affiliated IBEW local unions. It enables English-speaking staff and administrators to communicate directly with Spanish-speaking and other non-English-speaking workers without either party needing to know the other's language. CHD Translate is an independent initiative of IBEW Local 1 and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the IBEW International Office.
