Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 8world at 4.3 against 澳廣視 TDM's 1.8. 8world also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). 澳廣視 TDM's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
8world holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of 澳廣視 TDM's written reviews are positive against 18% of 8world's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
澳廣視 TDM ships an update every 2 months, 8world monthly. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
