Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: radarQuery at 100% against Flight Board's 36%. radarQuery also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 2 months). Flight Board's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 1.0) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On price and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. radarQuery sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Flight Board asks for nothing beyond the download.
Flight Board holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Board has 31K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Flight Board's written reviews are positive against 100% of radarQuery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Flight Board ships an update every 2 months, radarQuery every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
