A doubly puzzling magical adventure! The most powerful magicians in the kingdom of Mysteria were once the Pictomancers, who had the power to imbue painted or woven images with arcane energy. With the Great Tapestries fraying and darkness returning to threaten Mysteria it's up to you, the last Pictomancer, to quest throughout the kingdom and restore these powerful images and save the kingdom. Take on the journey in one of two modes, tackling either the always-popular Pic-A-Pix puzzles or the brand new Fill-A-Pix! Each mode offers 100 exciting levels to tease your brain (200 total), making this a game you're going to want to play through at least twice! Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Mystery Riddles at none against Moonlight's shown. Mystery Riddles also leads on ratings volume (614 vs 16) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 11.0). Moonlight's advantage is update cadence (every 5 months vs every 18 months) and rating (4.9 vs 4.6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mystery Riddles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Moonlight sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Moonlight holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mystery Riddles has 614 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Mystery Riddles's written reviews are positive against 90% of Moonlight's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mystery Riddles ships an update every 18 months, Moonlight every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
