Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: CAA Jet Fuel at 4.5 against FltPlan Go's 4.0. CAA Jet Fuel also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). FltPlan Go's advantage is ratings volume (173 vs 13) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

CAA Jet Fuel holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FltPlan Go has 173 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of FltPlan Go's written reviews are positive against 50% of CAA Jet Fuel's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

FltPlan Go ships an update every 2 months, CAA Jet Fuel monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
