Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Ready Time at 100% against Talk Timer Clock's 50%. Ready Time also leads on price (Free vs $0.99) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 24 months). Talk Timer Clock's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Ready Time is free to download; Talk Timer Clock costs $0.99 up front. Ready Time sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per year. Talk Timer Clock asks for nothing beyond the download.
Talk Timer Clock holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ready Time has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Talk Timer Clock's written reviews are positive against 100% of Ready Time's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Talk Timer Clock ships an update every 24 months, Ready Time every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 11, 2026 and August 25, 2026 respectively.
