Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WFMZ+ Streaming at 4.2 against PCN Select's 2.0. PCN Select's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WFMZ+ Streaming holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 50 and 137 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of PCN Select's written reviews are positive against 8% of WFMZ+ Streaming's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
PCN Select ships an update every 2 months, WFMZ+ Streaming every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
