railreg.de brings the regulatory and legal framework for rolling-stock financing in Germany to your iPhone and iPad — concise, structured and always up to date. WHAT YOU GET Topics — short practitioner notes on financing structures, the Regionalisierungsgesetz, Regulation (EC) 1370/2007, EU state aid, market access under Directive 2012/34/EU and the ERegG, TSI and vehicle authorisation, the ECM regime and the Luxembourg Rail Protocol, each as its own chapter. PTAs — profiles of all 28 German public transport authorities (Aufgabenträger), organised by Bundesland: remit, legal form, current management, and the full tender pipeline from the Wettbewerbsfahrplan, including recent TED notices. Tender pipeline — every procurement in which an authority acts as lead, across all authorities in one list, grouped by contract start and filterable by new-build fleets, vehicle pools and the next three years. Operators — who runs Germany's regional trains and who stands behind them: ownership, market shares, and what each operator's balance sheet means for vehicle financing. Tender updates — a running log of new procurement notices, participation deadlines and award decisions relevant to rolling-stock financing. Dates — fairs, procurement deadlines and regulatory milestones in a three-month calendar, colour-coded by category and with a countdown to each. Add any date to your own calendar, or set a reminder ahead of a submission deadline. Widgets — the next dates and the latest tender update on your home screen and lock screen. Saved — a reading list for any page, authority profile, procurement or date you want to keep. Glossary — the key terms of German rolling-stock financing, searchable. Full-text search across notes, profiles, dates, tender updates and the pipeline. Content is curated by Dr. Thomas Prüm, a Frankfurt-based finance lawyer, and published on railreg.de. The app loads new content automatically — no updates required — and keeps everything available offline. Optional notifications tell you when a new tender update is published. The notes are provided for general information only and do not constitute legal advice.
