Established in 1972, OHIO811 is a nonprofit organization that serves as a communication link between utility companies and individuals planning any digging activity. Though OHIO811 does not physically mark lines, we do relay digging and excavation requests to our member network of utilities and underground facility owners. This network includes, but not limited to cable television, natural gas, electrical, water, sewer, and telecommunications companies. Our continued commitment to advanced technologies has given our organization an advantage, recognized both statewide and nationally. We also devote a significant portion of our time and resources to promoting safe digging throughout the state, through presentations, special events, partnerships, and public education and outreach initiatives. Download the OHIO811 app, it has lots of helpful information to those new to the "Call Before You Dig" process as well as those familiar with the process. You can view upcoming events, how OHIO811 works, the law, legislative updates, contract locator lists, videos of the safe digging process, FAQ's, information on Damage Prevention Councils and the Public Outreach Team or what it takes to be a member of our service using Membership options. Use Positive Response to check on who has marked their lineS. e-dig can be used to enter single address locates. Users of i-dig can now enter tickets using our new HTML 5 i-dig. Near ticket will show you where excavations are taking place around your current location. Remember, Call (or click) before you dig! It's fast, it's free and it's the law!

ITS Verify goes beyond the simple task-based verifications provided by ITS Go to enable verification of a worker’s qualifications against the more holistic requirements of a specific job, including requirements for span of control (SoC) and “critical” tasks, such as those for which records are required to be kept for the life of the pipeline. Key Features: • Scan worker’s eWallet card in the field to verify workers’ qualifications against custom jobs that were created in ITS platform • Assign workers to job crew based on qualifications, SoC requirements, and D&A status • Capture digital signature of assigned qualified individual for “critical” tasks • Identify and record non-qualified workers Benefits: • Simplifies and digitizes field verification reports (FVRs), while enforcing SoC • Eliminates the inefficiencies of previously paper-based processes • Centralizes critical OQ records in one system, streamlining reporting and auditing • Easily comply with regulatory and records retention requirements, including for critical tasks, safeguarding the defensibility of your OQ program.
