Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: PIXPRO SP1 at 2.3 against Image Sync's 1.8. Image Sync's advantage is ratings volume (197 vs 6) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

PIXPRO SP1 holds the better App Store score, 2.3 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Image Sync has 197 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of PIXPRO SP1's written reviews are positive against 13% of Image Sync's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

PIXPRO SP1 ships an update every 8 months, Image Sync every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
