Just imagine you want to find out which forces have an impact on a bungee jumper. Or whether the amount of fun you have on a roller coaster differs depending on sitting in the first or the last car. Maybe you want to get to the bottom of the moon landing in 1969. Did it really take place or are the videos just fakes produced in a film studio somewhere on our planet as alleged by several obscure sources? These and other questions about kinematics can be answered easily with NewtonDV. The app analyses the movement of persons or objects in a video using mere physics. All you need is a given film sequence โ or record your own video with NewtonDV. Range of functions: - Recording HD and slow-motion videos using the built-in iPad camera (up to 240 fps) - Importing videos from the photo library, Files app, iCloud Drive, or via AirDrop - Rotatable coordinate system for inclined planes or rotated recordings - Displaying measurement data in tables and diagrams - Drawing trend curves - Creating time strips and stroboscopic images - Displaying velocity and acceleration vectors with numerical values - Exporting tables and diagrams as png files - Exporting measurement data as csv files for further analysis in a spreadsheet program - Sharing tables and diagrams via email - Printing tables and diagrams - Light and dark mode

In this practice, you will construct a point-to-point quadratic function. The data will be taken from the free fall of a metal sphere, and you will have the height as function of time. Once you have obtained the points, you will need to plot and find the corresponding quadratic function. This practice recreates a physics laboratory environment and provides a measuring tape, a metal sphere, electronic equipment for taking the measurements, and a computer
