The SDA Bible Commentary is a Bible study and research series written by Seventh-day Adventist scholars. It serves both scholars and the wider church with rich background and explanatory material. The English SDA Bible Commentary was first published from 1953 to 1957 and revised in 1980. The Chinese translation began in 1999 and was completed in 2009. It is the first systematic Adventist commentary based on the biblical languages, and the first practical reference set to combine archaeological research with historical background. In 2014, the SDA Bible Commentary software was released, including seven volumes of commentary from Genesis to Revelation, plus cross-references, word studies, articles, and introductions for the whole Bible. In 2017, the newly designed SDA Bible Commentary+ software was released. In 2020, to make the SDA Bible Commentary easier to use on iPhone, we released SDA Bible Commentary+ (Lite). In 2026, a newly designed Bible commentary app is available.
