Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: みどりチャット at 4.7 against ON TIME CHAT's 1.8. みどりチャット also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (53 vs 4). ON TIME CHAT's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 41%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ON TIME CHAT sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and みどりチャット sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
みどりチャット holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: みどりチャット has 53 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of ON TIME CHAT's written reviews are positive against 41% of みどりチャット's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
ON TIME CHAT ships an update every 2 months, みどりチャット every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
