Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: vCastSender at 2.4 against STOPit App's 1.6. vCastSender also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). STOPit App's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 33) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
vCastSender holds the better App Store score, 2.4 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: STOPit App has 2K ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 28% of STOPit App's written reviews are positive against 15% of vCastSender's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
STOPit App ships an update every 6 weeks, vCastSender every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
