This card game is a FreeCell Solitaire. See the rules for more details: FreeCell is played with a deck of 52 cards, which are placed on eight columns in the middle. On the left, there are 4 free cells you can use to place a card temporarly. The goal is to build the 4 foundations on the right, from Ace to King. Usually, you would move cards one by one, helping with the free cells. The game allows you to move several cards at once, provided you have enough free cells to complete the move.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: FreeCell at none against Classic FreeCell's 1. FreeCell also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (77% vs 45%). Classic FreeCell's advantage is ratings volume (1.5K vs 39) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Classic FreeCell sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. FreeCell asks for nothing beyond the download.
Classic FreeCell holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Classic FreeCell has 1.5K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Classic FreeCell's written reviews are positive against 77% of FreeCell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Classic FreeCell ships an update every 2 months, FreeCell every 8 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
