Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: ずんだボイス2 at 4.8 against SituationBF's 4.5. ずんだボイス2 also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). SituationBF's advantage is ratings volume (397 vs 13) and review sentiment (88% vs 73%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. SituationBF sells 19 one-off in-app purchases and ずんだボイス2 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
ずんだボイス2 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SituationBF has 397 ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of SituationBF's written reviews are positive against 73% of ずんだボイス2's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
SituationBF ships an update monthly, ずんだボイス2 every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
