Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MultitrackStudio Remote at none against Audio One's 5. MultitrackStudio Remote also leads on review sentiment (50% vs 31%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 14.0). Audio One's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 38 months) and ratings volume (200 vs 6). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audio One sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. MultitrackStudio Remote asks for nothing beyond the download.
Audio One holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audio One has 200 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MultitrackStudio Remote's written reviews are positive against 31% of Audio One's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
MultitrackStudio Remote ships an update every 38 months, Audio One every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
