About

Magic Spell Sudoku

Step into the tower and sharpen your mind with Magic Sudoku, a wizard-themed sudoku game where every puzzle has exactly one solution and can be solved by logic alone. You never have to guess. DIFFICULTY GRADED BY TECHNIQUE Puzzles are ranked by the hardest technique they need, not by how many clues they have, so each tier feels right: • Novice: box scanning • Apprentice: singles • Adept: pairs and pointing • Sorcerer: X-Wings, triples, skyscrapers and kites • Archmage: XY-Wings, XYZ-Wings, W-Wings, fish and quads THE DAILY TRIAL Everyone gets the same puzzle each day. The challenge rises through the week. Keep your streak going, browse the calendar, replay past trials from the archive and share your results with friends. CAST SPELLS Earn mana by solving, then spend it on spells: • Insight: a hint that teaches. It names the next logical step, highlights the cells involved and explains why it works. • Reveal: shows the correct digit for a cell. • Scry: marks every wrong digit on the board. • Arcane Sight: fills in all your notes at once. SOLVE YOUR WAY • Notes that clean themselves up when you place a digit • Unlimited undo and redo • Highlighting of the selected row, column and box, and of matching digits • Counts of each digit still to place • Digit-first input • Pause, which hides the board • Hardware keyboard support on iPad • Three mistake modes: reveal mistakes as you go, show only rule conflicts, or turn checking off • Optional Wards: three mistakes and the trial ends, unless you buy a Second Chance with mana MASTER THE ARCANE ARTS Open the Grimoire for lessons on 20 solving techniques. Each lesson uses a real worked example from the puzzles in the game. GROW YOUR POWER Earn XP to climb the wizard ranks. You can also unlock 20 achievements, follow your statistics for each tier, and spend mana on five themes, including the light Vellum and Frost themes. MADE FOR EVERYONE Magic Sudoku has VoiceOver labels on every cell, error markers that are safe for colour-blind players, Reduce Motion support and Dynamic Type in the app's controls. NO ADS. NO PURCHASES. Mana can only be earned by playing. There is nothing to buy and nothing gets in your way. It's just you and the puzzle.
