Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Note Trainer Lite at none against Easy Note's 1. Note Trainer Lite also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (78% vs 50%). Easy Note's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Easy Note sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Note Trainer Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.
Easy Note holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Note Trainer Lite has 899 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Note Trainer Lite's written reviews are positive against 50% of Easy Note's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Note Trainer Lite ships an update every 3 months, Easy Note fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
