Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Mazes at 3.0 against Cosmo Learning's 2.3. Mazes also leads on iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.0). Cosmo Learning's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (weekly vs every 13 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mazes sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Cosmo Learning sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Mazes holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Mazes's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cosmo Learning's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Mazes ships an update every 13 months, Cosmo Learning weekly. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
