Verdict
The clearest difference is price: image.canon at Free against Flickr's $2.99. image.canon also leads on ratings volume (313 vs 1) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months). Flickr's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
