A unique four-dimensional puzzle, but please do not expect to solve it easily. The game consists of rolling a golden sphere to each surface of a hypercube. This is done by touching a door to pass through which in turn rotates the tesseract four dimensionally and brings the sphere into a new room. Passing through a series of rooms strategically will put the sphere on the walls and ceilings of rooms it has previously been in. The goal is to reach every wall, floor and ceiling of every room.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tesseract! at none against Superliminal's 2. Tesseract! also leads on review sentiment (88% vs 72%). Superliminal's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and update cadence (every 8 days vs every 66 months). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Superliminal sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Tesseract! asks for nothing beyond the download.
Superliminal holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Superliminal has 1.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Tesseract!'s written reviews are positive against 72% of Superliminal's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Tesseract! ships an update every 66 months, Superliminal every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
