Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Streamie at 4.5 against 2Watch's 1.0. Streamie also leads on ratings volume (136 vs 1) and device support (5 vs 3). 2Watch's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (6.1 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Streamie sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. 2Watch asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Streamie holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Streamie has 136 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of 2Watch's written reviews are positive against 67% of Streamie's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

2Watch ships an update fortnightly, Streamie every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
