Verdict
size? and Cleens both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Cleens's written reviews are positive against 48% of size?'s. size?'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for size? against 4.8 for Cleens. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: size? has 1.2K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 48% of size?'s written reviews are positive against 100% of Cleens's.
size? ships an update every 2 months, Cleens monthly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
