Appropriate photographs of the affected object complete with respective photograph processing at the point of origin (e.g. highlighting of a defect) can also be generated upon creation of a fault message. Jobs and processes are labelled on the mobile end device with a graphic symbol together with the respective processing status. Text elements can be used within the context of notifications. The text elements can be extended on the mobile end device. A plausibility test against the previous value from the SAP system can be carried out during the measurement point recording. The measurement time can also be automatically issued by the application. The mobile application is specifically designed for the use of appropriate text elements. This saves the maintenance technician from having to arduously record texts. In principle, all templates can be used in online and offline mode. All templates are configured once, irrespective of end device-specific requirements (e.g. screen size).
