Both are free to download. Scratch Tutorial sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Valley Christian Schools asks for nothing beyond the download.
Scratch Tutorial holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scratch Tutorial has 4.6K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Valley Christian Schools's written reviews are positive against 35% of Scratch Tutorial's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Valley Christian Schools ships an update every 3 months, Scratch Tutorial every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
