Moody Remote Control

Moody Remote turns your iPhone into a remote for Moody, the teleprompter for Mac. Stand where the camera wants you, not where the keyboard is. One round pad under your thumb does everything you need while you talk: pause and resume, move the text a line at a time, speed up or slow down, and in Moody Cue jump straight to the next section of your talk. Tap or swipe, whichever feels natural. Tap the arrows for one step, hold one to keep going, or flick across the pad the way you would move text on the screen. Every action has its own haptic, so you never have to look at the phone. Pairing takes a six-digit code from Moody on your Mac, once. After that the remote finds your Mac on its own, over Wi-Fi or a direct device-to-device link, so the two do not even need to be on the same network. The connection is encrypted end to end. Moody Remote is free. It requires Moody for Mac 1.7 or later, available at moody.mjarosz.com. What the remote does • Pause and resume the prompter • Move the text up or down, a line at a time • Change the scrolling speed • Moody Cue: see your running order and jump between sections • Haptic feedback for every action • Keeps the screen awake while you present
