beook - a different ebook Digital books themselves are not a novelty. Thus, there are many ebook readers and their corresponding apps to be found scrimmaging the market. They produce satisfactory results for literature and works of reference - however, their are not suitable for active studying. To study does not merely mean «to read and to understand», it also includes reflecting, taking notes, examining cross references, solving exercises, summarizing. beook solves this problem. The beook app is a platform for digital teaching material of any kind provided by miscellaneous publishers, educational institutions and authors. Next to the iPad it is also available for Windows, Mac Computer and other tablet operating systems. Simply try it out yourself.

Mit digitalen Lernkarten können die Begriffe gelernt und repetiert werden. Zusätzlich wurde die App wurde mit einer Augmented-Reality-Funktion erweitert. Hält man das Smartphone oder Tablet bei den entsprechenden Lehrmitteln an den gekennzeichneten Stellen über das Bild oder über die Seite, erscheinen auf dem Bildschirm weiterführende Videos, Links zu nützlichen Webseiten, Grafiken und Erklärungen zum jeweiligen Thema.
