About

High Jump Analyzer

Features

This app will push the limits of your high jump performance by providing comprehensive insights into your explosive power, takeoff forces, and overall efficiency. Each jump is analyzed using advanced physics principles to measure takeoff power in watts, vertical velocity, kinetic energy… ensuring you have the data necessary to optimize your technique and achieve peak performance. The app works best when your camera (or phone) is held wide and it is held still. The jumper should be allowed to move through the frame as they run, plant, takeoff and move toward the camera as they finish their jump. After you save you video with your camera or camera app, you load it from your photos. Press the markers button to set the bar, pit and takeoff. Then the set up button to input basic info, and finally the analyze button. After you save the analysis, it can be found in the app's history tab (top left), and it can be copied from there. Our Performance Scoring System delivers an unprecedented overview of your jumping mechanics, awarding scores up to 100 points across critical phases such as approach, plant, takeoff, and flight. With detailed breakdowns, you can see exactly where your strengths lie and where improvement is needed. Tailor your training using automated recommendations based on your performance, ensuring you focus on areas that will yield the greatest results—whether it’s enhancing your speed, refining your technique, or boosting your explosive power. This high jump video analysis app provides advanced biomechanics analysis, physics-based metrics, performance scoring, drill recommendations and targeted exercises suited to your improvement priorities... that can make your training sessions more efficient and effective. The app's intuitive interface, paired with a color-coded scoring system, ensures clarity in analysis and facilitates constructive communication with your coaches. Whether you're a developing athlete or competing at the elite level, this revolutionary app is your ultimate training partner, designed to maximize your potential and elevate your high jump performance to new heights. Metrics Analyzed: Takeoff Power (Watts): Measures explosive power output during takeoff using work-energy principles Takeoff Force (Newtons): Calculates force production during ground contact phase Vertical Velocity (m/s): Measures upward velocity at takeoff Horizontal Velocity (m/s): Measures approach velocity at takeoff Kinetic Energy (Joules): Total kinetic energy at takeoff Momentum (kg·m/s): Momentum of the athlete at takeoff Efficiency (%): Ratio of vertical to total velocity, measuring energy conversion efficiency This makes the app a video analysis tool with a comprehensive biomechanics assessment system. The physics-based metrics, performance scoring, and comparative analysis provides athletes and coaches with actionable insights for improving high jump performance. The scoring system gives clear, measurable goals, while the drill recommendations provide specific training guidance. The elite comparison helps athletes understand where they stand relative to world-class standards and what it takes to reach that level. The app will attempt to analyze and report the following: PERFORMANCE METRICS Approach Speed Distance from Bar Ground Contact Time Lean at plant Takeoff Angle Vertical Lift Peak Height TECHNIQUE ANALYSIS Knee Drive: Moderate drive Arm Drive: Arms held close ROTATION ANALYSIS Total Rotation Rotation Rate Angle at Peak Rotation Quality BIOMECHANICS Hip Angle at Takeoff Knee Angle at Takeoff Ankle Angle at Takeoff Center of Mass Trajectory PHYSICS & POWER Overall Score Takeoff Power Takeoff Force Vertical Velocity Horizontal Velocity Efficiency PERFORMANCE BREAKDOWN Approach Plant Lean Takeoff Flight Bar Clearance As well as: IMPROVEMENT PRIORITIES RECOMMENDED DRILLS
