Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Boulder Challenger at none against Boulder Trainer's 6. Boulder Challenger also leads on iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Boulder Trainer's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 6 days) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
