Both are free to download. Hidden Express sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Pack 16 asks for nothing beyond the download.
Hidden Express holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hidden Express has 385 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Hidden Express's written reviews are positive against 85% of Pack 16's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Hidden Express ships an update every 5 weeks, Pack 16 every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
