Root Down is an original abstract strategy game designed by Martin Grider for 2-players. It's rules about which pieces you can move are a little quirky, but once you figure it out, it's very quick to play, and has some interesting gameplay mechanics. In Root Down, you have two types of pieces. There are "kicker" pieces that must be next to a "root" piece to move. (Root pieces cannot move.) Kickers can only move exactly as far as the number of kickers next to the root. After a kicker moves, it "kicks" all of the neighboring pieces, then settles down into a new "root" piece. If you kick one of your own root pieces, it becomes another "kicker"! Kicking an opponent's root does the same, and if you kick it again before it has a chance to move, you'll to capture it! The game features an AI player, as well as pass-and-play options. There are several variable setups to chose from. Each one plays slightly different. Hidden Agenda

Everyone at the table has a Hidden Agenda. You draw three secret missions and slip them into the conversation — steer a topic, plant a phrase, get someone to agree to something absurd — all while the room thinks it's just a party. Score points for every mission you land. Catch the players who slip. Most points wins. No board. No turns. No narrator. The whole game hides inside the conversation, start to finish in one sitting. HOW IT PLAYS • One person hosts a room — everyone joins with a quick QR scan • Each player draws three private mission cards only they can see • Work your missions into the conversation without getting caught • Mark them done, call out anyone you suspect, let the host settle it • The player with the most points takes the crown WITTY MISSIONS, NOT CHEAP DARES Every card is hand-written to be clever and doable in real conversation — no embarrassing stunts, no forced challenges. Missions come in Easy, Medium and Hard, and the trickiest ones carry a bonus for pulling them off in style. SEVEN PACKS FOR EVERY ROOM • Classic — the universal deck that works at any party • Icebreaker — soft missions for new groups and first meetings • Corporate — built for office parties and team-building • Night Out — missions for lively nights and loud rooms • Spicy (17+) — flirty, daring missions for couples and adult company • Campus Life — dorm and freshman missions to break the ice fast • Vacation Mode — missions for the whole trip: airport, hotel, beach and beyond BUILD YOUR OWN WITH PACK FORGE Answer four quick questions about your party and the AI Forge drafts 30 custom missions in seconds — tuned to your group, your tone and your occasion. Or write every card by hand. Custom packs stay yours, even after a subscription ends. CATCH MODE Think a player just ran one of their missions? Submit a catch. The host approves or rejects it — and the real argument plays out loud at the table. PLAYS YOUR WAY • 2 to 25 players — best with a group of four or more in one room • End the game on a timer, on first to finish, or at the host's call • Fully playable in 11 languages, every mission card hand-translated • No account, no sign-up — just download and play FREE TO PLAY Start free with the full Classic pack and a taste of Icebreaker. Hidden Agenda Pro unlocks all packs, Catch mode and Pack Forge — with no ads, anywhere. Gather the table. Draw your missions. Don't get caught.
