Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GPS Tracker at 4.6 against mAPP's 3.0. GPS Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (634 vs 2). mAPP's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

mAPP ships an update every 5 months, GPS Tracker every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
