BeaconTrap vs ComplicaJSON

BeaconTrap scans for iBeacons in the background and triggers preset actions when the configured preconditions are met. Trigger Preconditions Additionally to immediately triggering an action when an iBeacon signal is received, BeaconTrap allows the configuration of the following preconditions: - RSSI threshold You can set a minimum RSSI (signal strength) threshold value for triggering actions - Knock twice The beacon wakes up the app in the background which listens to knock gestures. Knock twice on your device to trigger the action. - Arrival/Departure only Prevents triggering an action when you are leaving a place where you have stayed some time (~10min). This works great for door buzzers, where you only want to open a door uppon arriving at a place. Export Configuration Export your trap configuration to other devices with a shareable link.
