About

CapTarget Video Delay

Features

Video Delay films your movement and plays it back a few seconds later. Put your iPhone on a tripod, make your move, turn round: the action is on screen, and you never touch the phone. Built first for archery, it works anywhere the movement is over before you can look at it: golf, gymnastics, throwing, lifting, tennis, dance. THE DELAY • A delay you set from 3 to 20 seconds • A grid, and guide lines you draw on the picture to check a shoulder line or an arm alignment • A skeleton drawn over the athlete • Portrait or landscape, depending on where you stand the phone • No network, no account and no second device needed RECORD • A button to film what you see on the delay, saved to Photos with or without the grid, lines and skeleton • For archers, automatic recording: the app watches for your draw and records each arrow to Photos by itself • The iPhone's zoom and lenses ANALYSE YOUR SHOTS • A take mode at up to 240 frames per second, depending on your iPhone, with your takes kept in the app's gallery • For archers, every take is analysed: setup, anchor, string release, target impact, and your time at anchor • An approximate arrow speed, worked out from the sound of the release and the impact, once your distances are entered • A statistics screen: speed and time at anchor per session, personal best • Analyse a video from your photo library, up to 60 seconds REVIEW IN DETAIL • Zoom into a take • Lines drawn on the video that stay in place as you zoom • Share in one tap SEVERAL ANGLES ON A MAC Up to four iPhones film from different angles and send their picture to Video Delay on Mac, which shows them side by side, each one delayed. Connect with a four-digit code or a QR code, no Wi-Fi needed: the devices find each other directly. YOUR PRIVACY No account, no third-party ads. Your videos stay on your phone, and sound is used to find the arrow without being added to the videos you save. The app sends anonymous usage statistics. If you agree, takes the detector got wrong are sent with no identifier, over Wi-Fi, to improve the model; you can change your mind at any time in Settings.
