Heightmark is a GPS altimeter and private elevation journal for iPhone, made for hiking, travel, and photography. Save the places you visit by elevation, then compare them with Mount Fuji and Everest on one vertical scale. • SAVE WHERE YOU STAND Record the elevation, coordinates, place, and time supplied by iPhone Location Services. Add a photo and a note to remember the moment. See the current vertical-accuracy estimate alongside your reading. • REVISIT HEIGHTS FROM PHOTOS Recreate a mark from an original photo that retains coordinates, elevation, and capture time. Heightmark reads the elevation already stored in the photo; it does not calculate a missing elevation from coordinates. Photos shared through messaging apps or websites may have this information removed. • ORGANIZE YOUR PLACES BY ELEVATION Sort your private Atlas by elevation or date. See your places beside world landmarks on a true-scale Elevation Panorama, and revisit your cities, elevation bands, and earned badges. Choose meters or feet in Settings. • SHARE YOUR ELEVATION STORY Make a card for one mark, a Collection Card with 1 to 10 places, or an Atlas report. Export your panorama as a single tall image. Choose from free layouts or unlock premium sharing templates with Heightmark Pro. • KEEP A PRIVATE JOURNAL Record and browse offline. Place-name lookup uses Apple system services and shares the place's coordinates with them; offline, coordinates may appear instead of a place name. No account, advertising, third-party analytics, or behavioral tracking. Heightmark saves individual places. It does not continuously record routes, calculate elevation gain, or track workouts. Marks, coordinates, photos, and notes are stored locally on your iPhone. The developer does not receive them or provide cross-device cloud sync. Apple device or iCloud backups may include app data according to your system settings. FREE TO START Keep recording marks for free. Up to 10 marks can be in your Atlas; additional marks stay saved in Not in Atlas. Heightmark Pro is an optional one-time purchase with lifetime access: add every mark to the Atlas and Panorama and unlock all premium sharing templates. No subscription. Available in English and Simplified Chinese, with an in-app language switch. Elevation accuracy varies with your device and surroundings. Retake important readings under open sky. Heightmark is not a replacement for professional surveying or safety equipment. Start your elevation journal with a place worth remembering.
