The Speak Up for Parkinson’s app is a useful tool for Parkinson’s patients to practice their speech. The approach pays special attention to the volume of the patient’s voice, a key factor that helps to address several of the challenges faced with Parkinson’s. Two practice tools are included: 1) Words & Phrases, a series of random statements are presented for the user to speak; and 2) Reading & Conversation, a free-form area allowing longer practice sessions. With both tools a volume meter is provided as well as audio/video feedback. The app also provides helpful Speaking Tips and additional information. Brought to you by the Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation.

About

Fluency Tracker

Features

Measure stuttering accurately — live %SS, SPM, and severity in a tap-friendly fluency tracker. FluencyTrack is a stuttering calculator for speech-language pathologists and parents. Count syllables and disfluencies during a speech sample, then get the numbers clinicians actually use: percent syllables stuttered (%SS), syllables per minute (SPM), stuttered words per minute (SWPM), and automatic severity. WHY SWITCH Older stuttering calculators freeze, lose the session, and sometimes report 100% stuttered syllables. FluencyTrack counts a disfluent syllable as a syllable automatically (no double-tap), supports undo, and saves every session. FOR SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS • Simple mode: Syllable + Disfluent for fast live counts • Detailed mode: six clinical disfluency types — part-word repetitions, whole-word repetitions, prolongations, blocks, interjections, revisions • Client profiles and session history • %SS trend charts, speaking rate, and disfluency breakdown • Timer presets (3, 5, 10 minutes) plus unlimited • PDF reports and CSV export FOR PARENTS Track your child’s stuttering severity between clinic visits. Two-button simple mode, a live severity badge, and a history you can share with your SLP. RESULTS • %SS — percentage of stuttered syllables • SPM — syllables per minute • SWPM — stuttered words per minute • Severity: Normal, Borderline, Mild, Moderate, Severe Built for iPhone and iPad. Dark mode and VoiceOver. No account required — speech samples stay on your device. FluencyTrack is a fluency measurement tool, not a stuttering therapy or DAF app. Privacy:https://sites.google.com/view/huong-nguyen-privacy/home Terms: https://sites.google.com/view/huongnguyenterms/home
