What you can do with Clean aWay • Post places that need cleaning • Share your clean-up actions with details about what you found • Expose littering behaviour on the Wall of Shame • Keep a history of your clean-up posts on your profile • Follow locations instead of people About the app While travelling a lot in a van, I often park in random isolated places in nature. Unfortunately, I’m always surprised by how much trash people leave behind. At some point, I started collecting what I could to clean the places where I stayed. It felt good to leave the area cleaner and to show that travellers are not all irresponsible. After many clean-up sessions, I wanted a simple place to keep track of these actions — not for likes on unrelated social media platforms, but somewhere dedicated to this effort. As an iOS developer, I realised this could become a useful tool for others doing the same thing. That’s how Clean aWay was created: a modest tool to help people share and track clean-up actions. Now the future of Clean aWay is in your hands. Use it, share it, and send feedback to help improve it.
