About

Computational Complexity

Explore fundamental concepts of computational complexity with interactive graphs and live sorting algorithm demonstrations. Developed by academics, this app offers a fun and educational way to visualize algorithmic growth and efficiency.

Highlights
  • Interactive Big-O function graphs
  • Live sorting algorithm demonstrations
  • Visualizes algorithmic growth
  • Source code available on Github
  • Educational tool for computer science
Features

This app demonstrates the basic principles of computational complexity. The growth of a few typical Big-O functions are illustrated with an interactive graph, and live demonstrations of sorting algorithms can be run using randomly generated data. This app was developed at SUNY Binghamton, by Prof. Patrick H. Madden. Version 1.1 is an expansion on this, with the assistance a few students (primarily Keith Gardner, and undergrad, and Anthony Canino, an MS grad). We're working on the app as a fun project, and as a way to introduce ACM student group members to iOS programming. The source for the app is available on Github; we'll be adding more algorithms and things, and if you're interested in helping out with the development, let us know! https://github.com/keithgardner2/complexity Yay computational complexity! Yay Hartmanis and Stearns!

About

Schulte Table

Features

Schulte Table is a classic visual attention and search exercise. Find numbers or letters in sequence as quickly as you can to practice concentration, visual scanning, peripheral awareness, and eye-movement control often used in reading exercises. Choose from different grid sizes and training modes, track your results, and build a simple daily focus routine. Whether you are practicing concentration, supporting speed-reading exercises, training memory, or simply enjoying a quick brain workout, Schulte Table makes it easy to get started. Features: • Number and letter modes • Multiple grid sizes for different difficulty levels • Descending Mode for an added challenge • Best-score tracking and training history • A clean, distraction-free training experience Peripheral-vision practice: Keep your gaze near the center of the grid. Try to locate each number or letter with your peripheral vision, while minimizing unnecessary eye movement.
