Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: G1+ at 100% against FREEIP's 25%. G1+ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). FREEIP's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 5) and rating (4.4 vs 4.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
FREEIP holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FREEIP has 1.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of G1+'s written reviews are positive against 25% of FREEIP's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
