Both are free to download. EmailStorm sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Emma Email asks for nothing beyond the download.
Emma Email holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Emma Email has 11 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of EmailStorm's written reviews are positive against 71% of Emma Email's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
EmailStorm ships an update every 11 months, Emma Email weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
