We've all heard about scavenger hunts, and we all have phones with a camera. Combine the two and you get Camera Hunt! The game is simple: you have 60 seconds to find as many items as possible using your camera. Items vary from everyday objects, pets, something fun, selfies, and more. Take turns against your friends and try to beat your high score! Camera Hunt uses Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence technology, which isn't perfect, but makes for some interesting results! The game is completely free and available offline.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Scavify at 4.8 against Camera Hunt's 4.1. Scavify also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Camera Hunt's advantage is review sentiment (63% vs 36%). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Hunt sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Scavify asks for nothing beyond the download.
Scavify holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scavify has 1K ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Scavify's written reviews are positive against 63% of Camera Hunt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Scavify ships an update every 5 months, Camera Hunt every 7 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
