Welcome to 1939 and the Golden Age of Comics! As was common practice during the period, Amazing-Man Comics did not have an issue #1. In fact, the series began with issue #5. Amazing-Man (John Aman) is a fictional, American comic book superhero whose adventures were published by Centaur Publications during the 1930s to 1940s in the Golden Age of Comic Books. Historians credit his creation to Bill Everett together with Centaur art director Lloyd Jacquet. The character influenced the creation and origin of Charlton Comics' 1960s superhero Peter Cannon, Thunderbolt, as well as Marvel Comics Iron Fist character in the 1970s. This publication is from collected scans of public domain material. It is the editor's intent to make classic Golden Age comic books available to present day fans. ================================== This magazine is proudly powered by PressPad. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Golden Age Comic Books at 3.0 against Redwing's 2.6. Golden Age Comic Books also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Redwing's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (12 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Golden Age Comic Books holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Redwing has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Golden Age Comic Books ships an update every 4 months, Redwing every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
